About Me

My journey into technology started in high school when I attended a seminar at Texas State Technical College. After graduating in 1998, I studied Business Programming & Analysis at Central Texas College, where I also discovered my passion for graphic design.
In 1999, I designed my first logo and created a weekly newsletter for my church. After earning my associate degree in 2002, I worked as a Mainframe Programmer for Bexar County’s Criminal Justice Information System. During that time, I gained experience in technical writing, project management, leadership, and business analysis.
In 2006, I transitioned to full-time motherhood, homeschooling my kids while teaching myself web design. I designed my first website for the Bandera Youth Soccer Organization and later developed a homeschool record-keeping app.

From 2013 to 2015, I helped run HOLTech Computer Solutions, designing websites and graphics for clients. After closing the business, I continued freelancing under Sonshine Web Designs, now Summer's Designs, working on a variety of client projects.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design (Graduation Date: 2025) while managing a busy household with my 4 teenagers. Life is full, sometimes exhausting, but deeply rewarding. Through it all, God’s grace has been my strength, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!
